This is a tribute and a collection of memories of Simba, a King Shepherd who enriched and lit my life for ten years, seven months and eight days. His loss has been irreparable and I still feel the wound has not closed completely. In trying to heal, I found some solace in recording my memories of him which are part of this anthology.

I know there are a lot of people in this world who feel deeply about their pets. This book seeks to reach out to them, hoping to help celebrate that enduring bond by sharing fond memories as they enjoy life with their pets, as well as to commiserate and provide relief and comfort to overcome, when the loss finally takes over.
